What a beautiful calm after yet another day of rain and storms. Thankful for my family’s and everyone else’s safety throughout as well. Also remembering those dealing with all the negative and stressful parts of the rain, wind, and even tornadoes. For now though, let’s reset, rise up, and start fresh – TODAY IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR GREATNESS!
We have proverbial “storms” with safety as well. On occasion an error occurs causing an incident and/or injury that gets everyone upset. We need to watching for when those storm conditions are possible (BEFORE THE INCIDENT) and seek to change them. Watching for and correcting conditions like RUSHING, FRUSTRATION, FATIGUE, and COMPLACENCY can prevent well over 95% of incidents and injuries.
The truth is – OUR SAFETY REQUIRES OUR ACTION. Safety doesn’t happen by chance, luck does and we can’t rely on old man luck. Let’s be safe on purpose today!
