Poster: Don’t Assume Anything

Team –
I found these pictures on the internet (hopefully nobody we know) and they reminded me of our responsibility to not only issue PPE, assignments, tasks, and activities, but to make certain we give any and all associated information so that the intended results can be had. We shouldn’t take for granted that everyone knows an ear plug is an ear plug and that they know how to use it. Just like we shouldn’t assume everyone understands our intentions if/when we only give them a little of the information.
Safety is about clear, complete, and timely information BEFORE tasks begin and/or incidents occur. We have pre-shift meetings because we want to give all information available and enable any and all questions to arise.

Keep telling those stories – we need to know what’s happening to everyone so that we can learn something and grab a smile on the way. We’re silly people sometimes and we can help others when we share.

Thanks for the share PT!
