Team –
Hazard recognition, elimination, mitigation, and/or control are all a huge part of a world class safety program and understanding the details of our actions is equally as important. We believe that when we see something (a hazard that is) – we own it! Sure some exceptions may apply, but not many. Improving our own personal hazard recognition skills happens when we use them. Let’s take a walk with the intent of finding hazards. I know we do that officially every month, but I’m talking about every day both on and off the job. Let’s be intentional about seeing and eliminating hazards BEFORE they create incident/injury.

It’s exciting to close a year out and to celebrate a “New Year” opportunity; however, let’s add to all our resolutions the desire to remain injury free. ZERO WON’T HAPPEN BY CHANCE! I’ll be sending our 2020 Safety Resolutions in the next day or two to print, sign, and return to the safety department. Let’s commit to being “tactical” about our safety.

By the way, do you know what today is? How about a GREAT day for ZERO!

Thanks for the share to PT!

Heidi
