We can never say enough about the details. Details about training; specifically what needs to be said, tested, evaluated, and controlled. We need to make certain we’re not just going through the motions with a general approach to a few of the details. For safety’s sake, drill down into the task to make certain we understand the Whys and What-ifs. Then, once we understand those details – communicate a plan and listen for feedback. Be prepared at this point to get more details, especially from an experienced workforce.
Safety isn’t easy – it’s intentional and remember, it doesn’t just happen or happen on its own. It’s our duty to dig into the details for a greater understanding and to make certain we know what we know.
There’s no better day for this than today!
Thanks for the share, PT!
