Poster: COVID-19

Let’s all do our part to understand the signs and symptoms of illness. All this talk of COVID-19 should have us all on heightened alert for any and all of the above. Please remember that symptoms present in a variety of ways; especially due to our countless differences. So we have to make the call, if we suffer from seasonal allergies and know our “runny nose” quite well, then take our routine meds (discuss with supervisor) and work through it using heightened cleaning techniques and social distancing as a buffer regardless. But let’s say we suffer from chronic allergies, however our cough, sore throat, or dry eyes are different this year for some reason? In this case, let’s stay home and contact our physician before reentering our circles.

What I’m trying to say is that if something is different – EVALUATE IT and if it’s truly new to us (symptom or presentation) call our doctor. Get an opinion!

These are different times and quite simply we need to respond differently as well. Thanks for remaining illness-aware!

By the way, we have distractions among us. Our world is changing as we know it for the moment and it’s easy to get “caught up” in eyes and minds not on task. Let’s remember and practice our awesome safety! ALL INJURIES ARE PREVENTABLE!

Thanks for the share, PT!

Heidi
