How about that for some true spoken words? As safety folks (all of us included) we’ve been given great talents. In fact, we have the ability to recognize hazards and to prevent incidents. That’s pretty cool if you ask me. The best part of being a safety team member is that we get to help others learn these skills. Occasionally someone might recognize our efforts and for that we’re always grateful, but that’s NOT why we do it. We do safety because safe teammates, family members, and friends get to enjoy life without being all banged up.
Injuries (regardless of severity) change lives and that’s NOT what we’re about. Let’s B.S.O.P!!! (Be Safe On Purpose!)
Thanks for the share, PT!
