It’s important to say the right things in a way that enables others to hear the right things as intended. Communication is one of my favorite topics to blurb about, because it’s something we can all relate to as a staple in our jobs and homes. When we talk safety, it’s important to read the message once we’ve written it. I even tend to read them aloud just to make certain I get it right. But guess what? Even with the best of effort, we still miss one every now and again and someone calls it out. Communication is a key element of a world class safety program.
Let’s communicate clearly and make certain we’re getting our safety messages heard and understood. The proof is in the actions and results. Today is our next opportunity for ZERO.
