Team –
Isn’t it cool to hang around a bunch of like-minded people? Teammates, colleagues, friends, small groups, or neighbors are a few of the gatherings that come to mind. Like-mindedness is the best part in visiting; because everyone seems to have the same goals and to be talking about similar ways to achieve and/or sustain them.
Safety is the tie that binds us together through caring and love. Hear me out, I know some of you are getting ready to tune me out because I used the “L” word. To be the most safe we can be or to achieve our goal of being the safest steel company in the world, we have to be together on this. I love “me”(state your name) enough to work safe EVERYTIME, – NOT FOR OSHA, NOT FOR SUPERVISOR, NOT FOR MANAGER, NOT EVEN FOR FAMILY, Safety has to be what we as individuals believe and act toward because we care about and love ourselves. Sure, we are safe for family, teams, supervisors, managers, and company goals, but it has to start in our individual hearts or we’ll fail – one here and one there periodically throughout the week/month/year.
SAFETY IS PERSONAL and IT’S ALL ABOUT ME (for starters) AND MY DAILY DECISIONS! Today is a perfect day!
