As safety champions, we’re in the trust building business. Our influence is critical in helping others “want” to do the right things. If people aren’t wearing, using, and/or acting correctly; that’s a sign of failing leadership. I know that might be a hard pill to swallow, but stop and think about it. Our jobs as parents, teammates, leaders, or any other title we care to represent is to build trust and lead ourselves and others into the “RIGHT THINGS.”
It’s so easy to get sideways or to go down the wrong road; however, once recognized it’s just as easy to RIGHT the WRONG. It takes courage, perseverance, and dedication. Sounds like a success formula, right?
Our safety is our responsibility – IT’S JUST THAT SIMPLE!! Remember, we work to live NOT live to work and as such, we’re in this together. Let’s be safe on purpose today!
Thanks for the share, PT!
