Do we have our teammate’s back? We’re safety champions and as leaders we’re often out in front. Are we confident that our teammates are ready, willing, and able to protect us? If so, reiterate the plans and if not, reiterate the plans. It’s critical we make a plan, communicate a plan, practice a plan, re-evaluate a plan, make a new plan, communicate a new plan, re-evaluate… (keep on repeating).
We’ll never practice enough – We’ll never be good enough to rest. When we let our safety guards down, people get hurt. Remember, Perfect Practice Makes Perfect!
Thanks to PT and JL for the share!
