I found this nugget on the bulletin board just outside the XXX yesterday and knew right away it would be a share. Bettering ourselves is what this blurb is all about. Not big chucks, but “SMART” chunks in a manner that becomes recognizable to ourselves and others upon completion. We say things like ‘we’re in this together’ and ‘together everyone achieves more’; however, the only way to sustain this thinking is to better ourselves.
As for safety, it’s just that simple. Learn something new every today. The name of a tool, a teammate’s spouse’s name, a new hazard and/or associated regulation, a new policy, procedure, or JSA step. So much to learn that makes us just a little better than we were yesterday.
How’s that for an exciting thought? Today is our next opportunity!
Thanks for the share, PT!
