Hi,
I would like to invite you to attend the NIOSH Working hours, sleep and fatigue Forum on Sept 13/14, 2019 held in Couer D’Alene, ID. The purpose of this meeting is to present and encourage discussion of research gaps/needs around working hours, sleep, and fatigue. Click here for the forum agenda.
As a prominent mining industry member your participation in the Mining Sector breakout session is highly valued. We will be discussing the impact and risks that nonstandard work hours and fatigue has in Mining. In addition, we would also highlight effective mitigation strategies and possible future directions for research or fatigue management. Your input on this topic is greatly welcome.
Please visit our Forum webpage (click here) for more information. There, you can also find our extended abstract for comments. If you cannot attend in person, we would greatly appreciate any written comments no later than September 1, 2019 to NIOSH2019Forum@cdc.gov. This is a general email address, so please indicate that you are providing comments for the Mining sector.
Thank you for your consideration. We hope to see you at the Forum!
Feel free to forward this to others
