ins and outs of how you set up your plant area.

Shut down and lock out upstream equipment (If the feed equipment is
mobile, such as a truck or loader, physically block off the ramp to the
hopper feeding the plant).
3. Shut down and lock out downstream equipment.
4. Make sure all workers affected are notified of the shutdown of the ancillary components, as well as the screen plant itself.
5. Remove any other equipment that might have been used to fix the problem prior to resorting to the lockout (i.e. hydraulic hammer or pry bars used in an attempt to clear a blockage.)
