Today’s blurb comes from a share I received from our old friend RH. When he read yesterday’s blurb he wrote, “this hits on a saying/coaching that I use with my teams. Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance! It’s called the 5 P’s and you have probably heard of them around the industry. Stop think and plan before you execute can eliminate a lot of potential hazards.” Pre-planning is critical and just so you know, RH was (will always be) a marine and a drill sergeant, so as you might imagine there was probably another P and a few other words when he’d call this out in the old days.
We’re talking safety here, but don’t let that stop us from making this a part of everything we do. Planning is safety!
Thanks for the share, PT!
