How good are we at being safe? Do we make the same efforts at home as we do at work? Do we speak up when others (off the job) try to do something “silly”? Those actions are the recipe for cooking up some safety. We’re good at what we do and unfortunately being the “safe guy” is not always the most popular position in the room. Believe it or not, buy-in comes from education and we can educate through sharing information and more importantly being an example.
Team safety means, I’m safe for me, you’re safe for you, and WE’RE SAFE FOR EACH OTHER! We all have a safe job to do and that’s worth cheering about.
Let’s cook up some safety today!
Thanks to PT and JL for the share!
