Electric Generation Mix January 18, 2018

When the going gets tough, turn to coal: On January 18, 2018, 40% of the electric generation in the nation’s largest regional transmission operating area (PJM) was powered by COAL. Renewable sources provided only 5% of the electric needs as we enter another cold spell. Got Coal?
