Drones in Mining Research – VT

Researchers use autonomous technologies to make mines safer
Virginia Tech researcher Richard Bishop and his West Virginia University collaborators will use a two-year, $569,149 Alpha Foundation grant to study how autonomous drones can predict and prevent roof collapses underground.
