The expectations of the Department are that by now all mine sites should have developed and implemented a Diesel Emission Management Plan. This Plan should be based upon the 10 point checklist, contained within the Department’s Diesel Emission Management Guideline, and should include measures designed to actually reduce the level of DPs produced by their operations.
