Some NSW safety alerts that may be of use here in the US.
Due to a number of incidents involving mobile plant operating in NSW on mine site leases the NSW DPI have issued the attatched Safety alerts.
Below is a reference on what each safety alert pertains to:
SA 06-12: Safety alert that calls for all mobile equipment suppliers to review designs and documentation for safety circuits as per listed requirements. Click here to download the alert.
SA 06-13: Safety alert that calls for all mobile equipment suppliers to review design and testing for braking system as per listed requirements – (note our decline is 8.7%). Click here to download the alert.
SA 06-14: Safety alert that calls for all mobile plant equipment suppliers to provide information regarding the performance, integrity and maximum grade that their equipment can operate on. Click here to download the alert.
