How to beat the heat without AC:
Soak bed sheets in water and hang them up in your home.
Put bowls of water around the house.
Open your windows at night when the air is cooler, then close those windows during the day.
Close all blinds and curtains.
Take some containers, fill them with water, and put them in your freezer. Place the containers of ice around your home.
Open the attic, which will allow the hot air to escape as it rises.
We hope these simple tips will keep you safe, hydratedand cool during this year’s scorching summer.
