The above slide depicts the results of a lab study conducted by the Sacred Heart Medical Center. I’ll attach the video to watch if anyone is interested in seeing the actual test (click here to watch). (Thanks to our friend KJ, for sending me this last week.) In short, the picture shows bacterial growth in accordance to two people within 6 feet of each other masked and unmasked. It’s a pretty cool study, just give it a look. I’m going to keep talking about this because in the absence of a treatment and/or vaccine; masking and distancing are our only two defenses in continuing our lives as we know them. We can’t stay in self-quarantine forever.
It’s just like with safety, we have to evaluate the hazards and risk, then we have to establish a plan to eliminate or minimize them through ACTION. Knowledge and understand is for not, unless we act. Please keep our distances or wear a facial covering to reduce the associated risk of exposure.
Let’s start today!
Thanks for the share, PT!
