Good morning,
I am starting the Mine Workers Memorial Project again. There is enough interest in the American mining community to keep this project going to it’s completion.
I have every desire to name this the Sculpture the American Mine Workers Memorial. In order for this to happen, I will need contributions from other parts of the country. This will be possible through the desire of all the mining community to come together and support this us through your voluntary contributions.
I am reaching out to Foundations, grants and contributions from the by New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology alumni, although we do welcome contributions from all alumni from all our neighboring State Mining Colleges.
This Memorial will start as soon as we can collect 50% on the $420,000.00. The sculpture is estimated to take one year to complete.
This is truly magnificent art piece that will highlight a truly magnificent group of men and women that have helped advance generations of high tech inventions throughout the world.
I welcome you to take this thrilling project on along with me.
Thanks to all who have already pledged towards our goal and have been so supportive in keeping the project alive and healthy.
Thank you,
Michael S. Pino
